Chuck Furtado is an accomplished singer song-writter who started his career in music at the age of 13 with his first band, Monterey. Throughout the next 6 years, the group honed their skills in various clubs, events, and private functions. This also gave Chuck his first foray into writing original music noting, “It was a great experience. I remember how much we took pride and enjoyed the creativity of our own music.” After much consideration, Chuck decided to leave the band and attend college in order to pursue a career in business.
Although he had found joy and success in business, Chuck’s intrinsic passion for music had once again influenced his decision to continue writing and producing songs. In 2015, he released his first single, “Tomorrow Isn’t Yesterday” which premiered to positive acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Each subsequent single garnered even more support leading to his breakout 2021 song “Hope”. His latest single “Mary” has helped land a record deal with Paint The World Music.
